It hit only about 30 miles from my city in VA. My whole house was shaking. Quite a shock since it was my first- hoping no one was hurt over here or in the other states. Waiting for my family to get home as they were out on the road.

Yes they got back safely , but very late due to delays on the way. And there were some tunnels and buildings with noticeable damage.
